Welcome to what you want this to be. While I am an experienced home video veteran, and a fan of many varied types of music, film, TV, and sports, I also am in a time of life where a lot of issues are facing me, both job oriented and medical. To that end, I cannot sit back and just dwell on what was, I need to follow what’s next, and you can help.
I spent 27 years in the home video entertainment business, general manager at multiple locations as well as a member of the Board Of Directors of the Video Software Dealers Association (VSDA/ EMA) as well as a founder of the iDEA, a trade group representing independent video stores.
I love films, TV, music, and lots of jokes. I pride myself on both an amazing knowledge of these areas as well as an insatiable appetite to learn more. I also am very much in the know for DVD and other tech.
I am also a huge Phillies, Flyers, Eagles, and Sixers fan. I have great loyalty and even greater friends.
In April 2010, I was diagnosed with an INTERSTITIAL LUNG DISEASE, classified as NSIP. This is a restrictive disease that has no cure and is progressive. I am fighting to keep this in check as long as I can.
This blog is both a chronicle of my journey as I try to make the best of my brave new world and just a celebrations of things that interest me, and I hope interest you.
Please read and share, and honor me by joining in the conversation.
